A podcast is a collection of digital media files which is distributed over the Internet, often using syndication feeds, for playback on portable media players and personal computers. The term podcast, like "radio", can refer either to the content itself or to the method by which it is syndicated; the latter is also termed podcasting. The host or author of a podcast is often called a podcaster. Though podcasters' web sites may also offer direct download or streaming of their content, a podcast is distinguished from other digital media formats by its ability to be syndicated, subscribed to, and downloaded automatically when new content is added, using an aggregator or feed reader capable of reading feed formats such as RSS or Atom. Now that we've covered what a Podcast is... Is a Podcast right for you? In this age of instant communications you can't afford to only make direct person-to-person contact with your prospects, customers or employees once a quarter. You need a podcast to get your message, in your own voice, in front of these key audiences on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. |

One of my latest creations is Rooms to Renew - www.roomstorenew.com. Rooms to Renew is a Utah owned business that does an excellent job at redesigning homes to make them more livable and look better. They also do real estate staging to help you sell your house quicker and redesign seminars. The Rooms to Renew website features a Blog, Portfolio, Contact Form and multiple informational pages. I've seen their interior design work and would definitely recommend Rooms to Renew. |

Think branding is only for large multi-national corporations? Think again. Here are 9 easy tips you can use to grow your brand with your customers. 1. The design of your logo really doesn't matter. Would you choose MSN as your search engine over Google because of their logo? No, having a nice professional logo is great, but it very rarely increases sales. I'm all for a professional logo, but don't think you need to spend a fortune on it. It's more important to include your logo on every piece of communication. Put it on business cards, letterhead, envelopes, invoices, yellow page ads, building signage, newsletters, etc... |

By David Leonhardt - www.seo-writer.com From the obvious to the "Hey-I-never-thought-of-that-great-idea-before", here are 10 of the top 52 tips on how to optimize your website for its turbo-charge rocket ride up the search engine rankings. Be bold. Use the tags around some of your keywords on each page. Do NOT use them everywhere the keyword appears. Once or twice is plenty. Deep linking. Make sure you have links coming in to as many pages as possible. What does it tell a search engine when other web sites are linking to different pages on your site? That you obviously have lots of worthwhile content. What does it tell a search engine that all your links are coming in to the home page? That you have a shallow site of little value, or that your links were generated by automation rather than by the value of your site. Here is an example of deep linking, in this case to my personal happiness workbook. |
